To provide care, compassion, food, clothing, transportation, and other assistance to help people meet not only their day-to-day needs but assistance in preparing them for a stable future. To accomplish this BCIS also provides intake and referral services to public and private social-service and benefit programs.

Our History

Originally established as the Episcopal Service Alliance in Huntington Beach in 1988 to provide assistance to those in need, Beach Cities Interfaith Services, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. For over 25 years, local churches, community organizations, and individuals have provided 100% of our funding. There is an active outreach program underway widening our support base through grants and business/fund matching programs.

We partner with other agencies in assisting those in need; the homeless, the elderly, and low-income citizens/families. Our partners include CalFresh, Women Helping Women, Laundry Love, and other community organizations.
